This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My intelligent, at-risk students aspire to complete an Associate’s Degree while completing their high school studies in the poorest congressional district in the United States.

My ESL, ICT and AP students are striving to get a piece of the American Dream.

They are earnest young people who deserve a hand up.

These persistent hard workers are striving to make the jump from the tough streets of the inner city to four year colleges. With a little bit of help, they will be sure to achieve their dreams.

My Project

These Chromebooks will replace some of our old Vista machines. The touchscreens will allow students to use drag and drop activities to enhance their learning. The built in keyboards will allow them to type essays and poems.

My students have come to rely on technology in the classroom and have been aching for upgrades that will allow them to access needed services without as much wait time to humor old operating systems.

We have already moved most operations into The Cloud so these machines will allow students to access the services they need, like Jupiter Grades, Quizlet, Google apps and much, much more.
