My Students

My students are in the 4th grade. They are smart, creative thinkers who love learning. While working cooperatively in groups, they enjoy hands-on, engaging projects that encourages creative thinking. Students come to school excited about working on science, math, reading, and social living activities and projects.

My school is a Success For All school and an A school.

It is a small school located in Louisiana. Many families within our small community struggle to find employment, making it hard to provide the basic needs for their children. Often, students come to class without school supplies. Technology is something most of our students lack at home!

My Project

Due to the changes in career and college readiness, students are required to become more technologically savvy. Closing the gap for these students before they enter the work force puts them at an advantage. Some of our students lack technology at home, and by exposing them to technology at an early age is definitely a step forward. Not only academically, but as a motivational and engaging tool, students will perform better in the core subjects.

Investing technology on our students is an investment for our future!
