My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds: low income, middle class, upper middle class, single parent, two parents, involved parents, no parents, etc. Regardless of where they come from, I want to provide my students with whatever they need to be successful each day. Books, technology, games...anything we can get our hands on!

Our sixth graders deserve everything they need to be successful!

Engagement is the key to a successful classroom. I am happy to do anything that I can do to bring in supplies, books, and technology to make our lessons more engaging.

My Project

My students will use Chromebooks in place of pencil and paper in many instances. As sixth graders, they have much writing to do: essays in science and social studies, responding to reading novels or short stories, and daily journal writing.

To help them get ready for middle school where they will have access to a laptop of some sort, we would love to be able to have a Chromebook for every students.

This will help students to be prepared to take middle school by storm. They will be a step ahead of where they are expected to be next year.
