My Students

My students are thoughtful, creative and love hands-on learning. We are a school in a rural area and many of these students come from varying backgrounds but they come to school ready and enthusiastic to learn.

With the combination class of second and third grade, I am constantly trying to come up with ways to meet the needs of my diverse learners and challenge the students to meet their potential.

I always want to push my students to take that next step, to push their own comfort zone.

With the recent school closures, I am wanting to provide them with the tools that they need to stay connected to online learning.

My Project

With school closure, I have some students who do not have access to technology. This will allow my students to have the means to access the digital tools that they need to continue to receive the education that they deserve.

During this time, students will be sent weekly online learning tasks that will allow them to continue with their math, reading, and writing.

I also want the students to stay connected to each other and continue to build those relationships that are so important.

This is a hard time for all, and I would like to make it easier for my students.
