My Students

I teach 5th grade in a diverse inner city public school. In my class, there may be over 10 countries and languages represented. Many of the student are new to the country and are starting to master the English language. All of my students come to school each day ready and motivated to learn.

Despite the different abilities, my students work hard together, motivating, and inspiring each other to do their best.

We are facing many budget cuts and my kids do not always have the supplies and resources they need and deserve. I do my best to buy, gather, and trade for the things they need, but there is only so much I can do alone. Together, we can make a true difference.

My Project

Chromebooks allow students to explore their 21st Century Learning. These Chromebooks will help my students work on intervention programs for both math and reading, research for content projects, google documents and so much more!

Imagine that you are in a classroom of 33 and are waiting for your chance to get on one of the six Chromebooks!

This is the reality for all of my students. You might think that four Chromebooks wouldn't be enough, but with four more that would allow ten students to complete their work more efficiently. You can make a huge difference in my students' education. Thank you for your consideration.
