My students are full of energy and enthusiasm for technology! They are growing every day as readers! Most of my students are below grade level in reading.
Some are more than a year behind.
They have a desire to read and learn new things, but their reading skills sometimes hinder that. My students are eager learners and are always looking for ways to share what they have learned. My students love learning and I love teaching them to love to learn!
My Project
My students will use two new Lenovo laptops every single day! At our school, our students use a variety of blending learning programs to enhance their learning. Students will use the laptops for a variety of online programs and for project based learning. My students are also learning the basic skills of typing, Power Point, and how to navigate through a computer.
My students are always so excited to take advantage of their computer time, with two additional computers added to our classroom computer lab, one less student will have to wait for their turn to use the computers.
We are also learning how to take online assessments, explore Google Docs, and how to successfully research educational topics! These Chromebooks will be loved and well taken care of!
