My students are part of a charter school. Our school focuses on academics and fitness. For an hour each day our students take part in soccer, tennis, or martial arts. They are very energetic and eager to start new projects and learn new ways to solve problems.
In my classroom these third graders learn math and science!
We like to do math centers and science experiments. They love technology and learning how to use it in the classroom. I would love to have more supplies to teach whole group math lessons in a way that is fun for them!
My Project
My projector in my classroom is on a cart and does not connect to my desktop computer. I would like to be able to easily show my students videos and slideshows throughout the day. We only have 9 student computers right now and taking one of those away makes it harder for students to work. Also those computers have to be plugged into a cart in another room after running for four hours. I would love to have my own computer to stay on my cart and easily plug into the wall in my own room.
We use technology daily in so many ways in my classroom!
We love to review using Kahoot. For this website the teacher projects the question up on the board and the students have their own devices that they answer the question on. We also use it to watch science videos on Brainpop and my students love these videos!
