We're a small classroom in a small town. We range from 15-22 students per class each year. I currently have 19 first graders. They are wonderful students and are always eager to learn.
We implemented adaptive learning technology this year during our reading and math station time.
During this time some students leave for title math and/or title reading. Other students stay in the classroom and work on reading and math with me in a small group. There are some students who must do independent work during this time.
I am in need of Chromebook storage to help organized, secure and allow easy access, to the Chromebooks we use for adaptive learning.
Have you ever seen small children trying to access materials, but it wasn't organized well? This is our issue. We have Chromebooks in the classroom, but students have a hard time accessing them each day. Don't even get me started about trying to charge them! We have cords everywhere in a huge knot!
This Chromebook storage unit will allow easy access to the Chromebooks whenever they are needed.
It would allow students to charge their Chromebooks each night. It would also allow the Chromebooks to be safely secured each night. Right now they are just sitting on top of each other on the counter.
In a classroom, storage and easy student access is key! We've been very fortunate to have access to these devices. However, we do not have storage for these devices other than stacking them on top of each other.
