My Students

As a reading specialist, I have the privilege of teaching struggling readers in several grades. Many of my students are ENL, and they are in the process of learning the English language.

When my students smile, it brings the greatest feeling of joy.

I know they will succeed and love the work I provide.

My Project

We have been doing long distance learning for at least five weeks, and yet not all my students have a computer. Not only are they missing classroom work but now they can not even enter our Google classroom. Chromebooks in the home of a child will truly rock their world and enable them to continue the learning experience.

What makes the lack of a computer even worse for these students, they are new to the country and are also trying to learn English.

I have to say it's been a complete disaster for these children. It would be great to be able to deliver Samsung computers to my students. Finally, we will be able to communicate with each other and have meetings in our google meets classroom.
