My students need a Google Chromebook to integrate science, social studies, and math concepts within my science classroom.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our science classroom is always busy! We love to investigate through experiments and the use of technology. Because of the financial crisis in our state, our district struggles to provide our students with even minimal access to technology. I want my students to have access to online resources.
I have approximately 100 sixth graders that are eager to learn.
We live in a rural district with limited access to technology. Even though technology is not as readily available as it is in other districts, my students look for ways to use it in their daily lives. I know they would benefit from more access to the Internet. A chromebook will allow them to do that in a financially responsible way.
My students will be using this chromebook to conduct scientific research. They will also use it to communicate their results after conducting scientific experiments. They will use it to submit assignments as well as receive updates from the teacher about important upcoming events.
My students will have access to information outside of our building.
They will be able to keep up with the latest technology that students in other districts have access to. It will better prepare them for high school and the world outside of their classroom.
