Our classroom has 21 amazing fourth graders. The classroom is fully inclusive, including special education students, students who are learning English, and students with a wide variety of learning needs. With so many different learners, we really try to meet the needs of every one. When asked, our class describes themselves as "awesome, caring, kind and respectful to others." We strive to see differences as strengths! Our amazing school is a Kindergarten through fifth grade public, elementary school in Nashua, New Hampshire.
My students need to consistently have the experience using a Chromebook in the classroom. All of our students use laptops, but the differences in logging on and in navigation with the Chromebook take a bit of practice. Having a Chromebook with us in the classroom will enable us to have that practice during all of our subjects, especially writing. This Chromebook, and it's license, will also allow us to seamlessly log on to use our Google accounts and give my students practice for all of our testing, which is done with traveling carts. Being able to use this computer everyday for writing will make a difference!
