This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Everyday in second grade is a new adventure! We work hard learning new skills that help make us stronger readers. I try hard to integrate as much technology as possible. Unfortunately, are computer to student ratio is 3:19. This makes it hard for each student to have computer access.

I teach in a school where 100% of children receive free lunch.

The students in my class are eager and excited to learn. When they walk into the classroom, they are there to learn. They deserve every means possible to gain the knowledge they need to be successful.

My Project

Having a new Chromebook computer will help students during center time. They will be able to work through a computer program, that will target their reading level. They will also have access to other programs that will help strengthen their academic skills. Having an extra computer will ensure children do not have to share with other students, and will help them be able to work on assignments independently.

Your donation of any amount will help benefit children for years to come.

Students will be able to not only strengthen their academic skills in reading/math, but will also help enhance their typing skills. This will also help get them ready for state testing which is done on a computer. I look forward to seeing the excitement in their eyes, when they receive a new piece of technology!
