My fourth grade students are creative, hardworking, and excited to learn! They absolutely love hands-on, engaging experiences that allow them to learn and grow.
They come to school each day ready to try new things and grow both academically and socially.
We are part of a larger school that celebrates inclusion. I teach one of four fourth grade inclusion classes in my building. Many students in fourth grade are English Language learners and are making huge strides in their communication and understanding of the English Language.
My students are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
We have been so lucky to get a class set of Chromebooks for my classroom, allowing my students to learn through technology and become prepared for the technological advances that are here today. While this has been absolutely fantastic, managing these Chromebooks safely with Fourth graders has not been easy. We have a lot of messy wires and they are constantly needing to be organized which takes a lot of time. If we are able to get this Chromebook station, not only will it help my students to be safe and organized, but they will also be able to use them more independently and efficiently.
