My Students

At our low-income/high-poverty school, I can experience first hand the impact of the arts on kids. We try to give our students the experience of music education. Currently, we offer general music and band.

Occasionally, our students will have sung in choir at church or have learned to rap through friends and family, but only a few have touched a musical instrument.

Our school is unique, a small school in the heart of the Bronx. We serve from 6th to 12th grades.

They are vibrant students who are eager to learn and to experience the world.

I am hoping to continue encouraging our scholars to be creative in a positive manner and help develop their love of the arts.

My Project

We are working on a music project online. This Chromebook would make our class so much easier.

We use Google Classroom as well as surf the web for research in music and history.

Chromebooks are an easily affordable way for students to be in touch with what the web has to offer.

We can divide these four Chromebooks in groups and work on our projects with the tools every kid in America deserves.

These tools would be a great addition to our classroom as well as our school in an everyday study. these computers can reach at least 205 students every day.
