This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a curious group and always questioning information discussed in class. They seem to have a hunger for learning and enjoy both very interactive moments as well as those quiet moments for deep thought and concentration.

We are at a dual language immersion school with an 80% population of Latinos in Chicago.

Many of our students are from low-income homes with limited accessibility to resources at home.

My students inspire me to go in every day with new energy so that together we can make new discoveries about our world and how we can provide a positive impact.

My Project

The Chrome books will supplement the technology we already have to provide my students with a different structure of learning. They will have more options for their research projects in science and social studies, writing, and an additional resource for math that will be done in the classroom.

Students need to have easy access to as many sources for their education.

The Chrome books will provide all of those sources. Students will be able to advance and get projects done in a variety of ways and at their own pace.

These Chrome books will be a huge investment in their future.
