My Students

My 6th graders engagement and excitement is at an all time high when my they are working with technology.

Our school population is diverse.

We are a title 1 school with many 1st generation students in the United States. We have students from many cultures and English is a second language for many of our students. They are motivated to learn and love to work with technology.

My Project

Technology in my classroom is used daily. Students view flipped teaching, complete assignments, practice basic skills, research, write, and edit their work. All subject areas are enhanced through the use of technology and the addition of 5 Chromebooks will allow students access to the wealth of information online and would be a tool to create and share their work.

The addition of 5 Chromebooks in my classroom would help us move toward a goal of 1 to 1 devices per student.

This increased student access will allow for more creative and collaborative projects as well as allow individual students a device to write, edit, and publish their personal works.
