My students need chrome books to enhance learning through group projects and learning opportunities, interactive science labs, and technology-based stations. Students also benefit greatly from use of Khan Academy to provide supplemental lessons and immediate feedback.

My Students

Our students have chosen to come to our school due to being behind in credits or preferring an alternative learning environment, in order to graduate high school in a timely manner.

Our students work hard to optimize the credit recovery opportunities and personalized education plan we help them develop.

Students may choose to graduate from our school, or complete the necessary credits to return to their comprehensive high school to graduate.

The vision of our community is to develop life-long learners, good citizens and individuals who demonstrate respect for others, personal integrity and perseverance in their everyday lives.

My Project

We strive to prepare our students to be computer literate for future learning endeavors and the work force. Students have access to our computer lab, which is shared between the two classrooms. Our goal is to have in-class technology to provide group learning opportunities and computer-based interactive labs.

Students will benefit from science-based interactive labs, as a group, which enhances hands on labs as well.

Students have already used and benefited from Khan Academy online learning for the last two years. Student will benefit from computer use in a group setting, with chrome books, versus an individual-based computer lab set up.
