This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 3rd grade Math, Science and Social Studies! I have students from all different backgrounds and they come to school each day proud of who they are and what they are doing. My students love learning!

With 10 teachers and 22 kids per class, we have a lot of learning going on in 3rd grade!

Our elementary is currently kindergarten through fourth grade with over 1200 students! My students know how special they are to me and our school.

My Project

We currently have 2 iPad minis that my students love working with; however, our school funded computer programs for Math do not have an app so we cannot utilize this software to the fullest. My students love being able to take the iPads to a spot in the room and work. Having Chromebooks would allow them to do that and utilize the math computer programs we have access to. Having Chromebooks would also allow us to do research for Science and Social Studies, as well as play Kahoot for math review. Chromebooks would allow my students and I to be more hands on with our time.
