My Project

My ELL students work so hard on their reading skills in my classroom. Many of my students come from bilingual homes, and COVID caused major disruptions in their learning. They start with letters and letter sounds and then progress to reading words. No words can explain the confidence and pride they exude when they realize they can read sentences, paragraphs and whole books! Their faces light up like Christmas trees!

They are eager to read real books in their classroom, just like their peers.They love reading books about holidays, especially Christmas.

Please help me supply holiday books for my students. These books would bring such joy to their lives!
