This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
It is the holiday season and my scholars are super excited to celebrate with their peers. These materials that are being requested will ensure that everyone in my classroom will celebrate and learn what the holidays are all about. These students will be able to feel the holiday spirit. Being a low-income area, all scholars may not know what it is like the share the holiday spirit with others, and what receiving gifts, no matter the size, really feels like. This donation would allow me to show students what the holidays are all about, share it with their school family and receive a small gift from me.
