I teach an amazing group of 25 first graders in rural Kentucky. My students enter the classroom each morning excited to see what new activities we have planned. The students love to try new activities and are always willing to give their best.
One hundred percent of the students at our school receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds, and many of them only have access to technology at school. Despite these hardships, my students are eager to use technology, explore and be successful.
My Project
I am looking for donations for my classroom to help reward my students for all of the hard work and gains that have been made so far this year. My students are working daily to show growth in reading and math and I would love to be able to reward my students with some fun games like bingo, ornament decorating, and prizes like bracelets and light up rings.
Setting goals and giving rewards will help keep my students motivated!
I will give rewards for daily accelerated reader testing and for good behavior that we are working towards like using good manners and being kind to everyone.
