I am teaching third grade in a Title I Elementary School. There are approximately 120 students in the same grade level. The students are all Native Americans but came from different tribes. We have been doing virtual learning since August and I am so proud of our students because they are resilient. They keep on learning and growing in the midst of educational challenges brought by the pandemic.
My Project
Our school provides holiday activities like Halloween Carnival and Christmas Bazaar for our students every school year and they always look forward to these fun events. These events are for the students, families, and the community. However, our students missed the Halloween Carnival this school year and unfortunately they will be missing the Christmas Bazaar because of the pandemic.
Christmas Bazaar has always been special for our students.
They get to make arts and crafts and showcase their crafts to their families on the day of the event.
I believe that the materials that I have requested will bring so much joy to our students. If my request will be granted, crafts will be picked up from the school office and we will enjoy making arts and crafts virtually. Thank you so much!
