My Students

As a teacher in a low-income school district, some of my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges, they continue to greet me with a smile every morning and show up eager to learn. They are motivated and want to be successful students; they just need the right opportunity. Every student in my classroom is unique and has something to contribute to our classroom. Thank you for supporting these awesome students.

My Project

I’d like to add more seating options to my classroom and reading area. The comfy pillow and floor seat that I am requesting would be a great addition to our reading corner. Additional seating would offer my students an exciting new place to open up their worlds in reading.

Flexible seating options create a positive learning community for all students to grow and learn within.

It also provides classroom choice which proves to engage students and encourage positive behaviors! Adding more seating options to our reading corner would motivate my students to pick up a great book and learn something new. Thank you for considering my project.
