Help me give my students a Friends with Diverse Abilities Figure Set, Everyday Heroes Figurine Toys, (Including Construction Worker, Policeman, Mailman, Pilot, Chef, Fireman, and Veterinarian) and two ACER Chromebooks.
We go to school in a rural area, and my class consists of a diverse population including Native Americans from our nearby reservation, as well as a large Hispanic population that aides in our farming community.
All of my students qualify for free breakfast and lunch.
We also have a local National Guard Unit in our area and have a lot of military families with parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins serving in our beautiful country. We are dedicated to helping our students and their families. Regardless of these factors, I am fortunate to work with students that love to be at school and learn each day. Our school is full of energy and excitement, which I love being a part of!
My students are extremely enthusiastic learners. They are always full of life and their love for learning is catching! I can't wait each day to see that light bulb look come on when they understand a new concept. They love to have hands-on, engaging learning activities for every subject in school.
From the moment they walk in the door in the morning, they are ready to learn and find out what the day has for them.
My Project
We are not only focusing on academics this year, but are really trying hard to be kind! Kind people make happy people. We can learn better when we are happy. The figurines will allow us to do some roll playing with our peers. The Chromebooks will allow us to do research on kindness and how it affects people in many different ways. We will be able to type up different reports on kindness and share them with our class. We will be able to practice our typing skills daily to help prepare us for our state tests at the end of the year.
