My students need these manipulatives to engage them in hands-on activities to help them grow as learners. These supplies will help create a number of bins that allow students to choose activities that interest them!
Coming from a low income school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite many challenges they face, they smile every day!
I have a wonderful group of kids that are hard workers and kind friends.
They have worked so hard to grow as learners. They are growing and changing every day and I am so proud. They are always asking questions and wanting to know more about everything! My kids are special!
My Project
These materials and manipulatives will help my students engage in learning and critical thinking activities. Materials like gear builders, Magna-Tiles, Kid K'Nex, jumbo building blocks, geo boards, jumbo magnifiers and dominos will allow them to grow and challenge themselves as learners and thinkers every day. These materials and manipulatives will allow my students to practice and grow the skills needed to be successful!
Creating these bins with different activities across different subject areas will allow my students the opportunity to meet and practice their learning goals throughout the year.
