My Students

The learners in my school come from a wide variety of backgrounds and needs. My class has a large number of students with disabilities and special needs including ESL, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. These students, along with our regular education students who perform at or above grade level, create a unique learning environment.

Studies show that quality early childhood programming provides children with a great start to their school career.

Our goal is to provide a place to be creative and curious while also learning to be great people!

My Project

This train table will provide a safe place for the little learners to use our new Lego Duplo Coding Express, as well as standard trains and tracks. Our old train table recently broke, and students have been playing with them on the floor. This makes it impossible for students to leave their creations set up for the next day's play time, as well as difficult for students to get around.

This train table will provide a safe and student-friendly place to play with a number of dramatic play toys including trains and tracks, Lego trains, and even our barn or dollhouse.
