My Students

We become our choices, why not help students make the correct choices based on unbiased information while they are still young?

I teach the sweetest 7th graders possible.

They come from a low income area and often feel they have no real choices. Often they say that they are the way they are because that's how it's always been. I desire for them to see that they can make better choice--I know they want to make smart choices. By presenting them with real information, they can make informed decisions.

My Project

My students will use these magazines to improve their reading skills, enhance their analytical abilities, and to write about informed decisions. These magazines compliment the 7 habits program our school follows by encouraging healthy choices. They also align with common core by providing students meaningful non-fiction text.

By donating to my students for these magazines, you are helping children see that there are ways to make informed decisions.
