This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Fifth grade is an exciting place to be. I have a total of 84 eager learners. We begin our learning each day gathered together on the carpet. From there, we would like to have the opportunity to travel around the room finding a comfortable place to work independently or maybe collaborate with fellow students. Tables and chairs… the traditional seating arrangement…work well for some of my students. But flexible seating options like wobble chairs would give my students the opportunity to practice making responsible choices that could help them grow as learners

My Project

Children need choices in the classroom to be successful. Having a comfortable place to learn is a choice my students can make with your help.

Flexible seating allows children to stay engaged in their learning.

Having the option of where to sit in a classroom can make a big difference in behavior, engagement, and academic growth. We are a classroom of mathematicians and scientists. We are serious learners with serious goals. The choice of where to sit in our classroom can help us reach our serious goals. With your support, our classroom can have comfortable seating and active, successful learners.
