My Students

Our classrooms are rooms full of energetic, eager to learn fifth graders. In our rooms, the students know that if they are making a mess, that means that they are learning! We are explorers, scientists, authors, illustrators, mathematicians, and readers.

When we look at our fifth grade students, we see the shining eyes of what is coming for the world.

They are an inquisitive bunch of kids that are excited to be in school to learn all that is new. Our classrooms are a family, and it is our one true wish as fifth grade teachers to give our precious students the most memorable learning experience possible.

My Project

My fifth grade students are constantly moving. They work best when having choice in their seating. Often times, students opt to sit on the floor or under a table. I would like to provide my students with flexible seating options to provide a larger variety of choice beyond just sitting in a chair or on the floor.

Students deserve to have a learning environment that meet their individual needs.

With having access to wobble chairs and floor seats, my students can bring their learning to multiple areas to collaborate freely around the classroom. Through flexible seating, our classroom could transform.
