My Students

In my classroom, you will find 17 smiling faces who have a true zeal for learning. As you can imagine, putting that many 5 and 6-year-olds in a room together can get quite loud.

If you walked by our door at any given moment of the day you would see children engaged in various activities helping them develop their craft as a student to become lifelong learners.

Our classroom welcomes parents and fellow teachers in the hope that we will inspire their love of learning also!

My Project

I am so excited to meet my new group of kindergartners very soon! I've been busy planning for their arrival and have started setting up my classroom. Each summer I spend a large amount of time arranging and rearranging my furniture to provide the most child-friendly spaces.

Each school year I try to add more interesting seating options to meet the needs and preferences of my students.

Last year's group asked me for teacher chairs. They wanted to be able to roll the chairs across the floor! Unfortunately, I was not able to get that project funded but I don't give up on my children so I won't give up on their request.
