Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager to learn! They come to school each day with smiles on their faces, regardless of their home environment. Most of my students are English Language Learners. I also teach in a high poverty school, both of these present challenges in the classroom.
My students work extremely hard each and every day!
This is my third year in third grade and I am slowly building activities and games that make learning fun! Thank you so much for thinking of my students!
My Project
I have hesitated to ask for these seemingly luxury items, however, after pouring over all the ways a Cricut can be used in a classroom, I’m convinced this is a great item for any class! Some of the ways I plan to use this is, bulletin boards, motivational signs, student T-shirt’s for group outings, field day, Math Bash, and more, to bring a togetherness in our “family”! I want them to use this to publish their writing and make beautiful covers to be proud of their completed work! To celebrate birthdays with their own special sign, to honor their goals by making personalized items for their achievements!
A Cricut machine will bring personality to their work!
Remember when we were in school and we had time to create beautiful covers and illustrations? Our time is so precious in the classroom, having this Cricut will help us quickly design on the computer and click to cut! Thank you for supporting public education!
