My Students

I teach 5th and 6th grades STEM at a wonderful public charter school. Our school has an arts integration focus and students have enrichment classes that teach art, PE/movement, ​and Hawaiian Studies. My students are all engaged learners that truly love learning. My students are motivated learners that arrive each day ready to succeed! Our school community is very diverse; we have students living in 26 different zip codes! I am so blessed to work with such talented students, alongside supportive and caring colleagues, in a fabulous school environment. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for your consideration.

My Project

My students are innovative, creative minds! I am requesting a Cricut Air 2 machine. This amazing tool will allow for my students to create an endless number of designs. They can print, and cut, numerous designs on fabric, leather, cardboard and much more! One thing that my students were excited about was designing and printing their own, unique t-shirts that showcase who they are, to be worn at school events and field trips. I love my students' creativity and I would love to support them by providing them with this fantastic tool. I greatly appreciate your consideration of this project.
