This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you remember how hard Kindergarten and 1st grade is? Do you remember all the times your teacher wrote on the chalk board/white board. Then imagine your classroom without a white board.

My students are the most amazing group of Kindergarten and 1st graders.

Every student in my classroom has autism. Autism is a development disorder that affects every aspect of their lives. These wonderful scholars come to school everyday to learn and explore. They attend a school with a very high rate of poverty. Our classroom is a great space since it is close to the playground and bathrooms; however, unfortunately it has zero white boards or chalk boards.

My Project

With this beautiful magnetic, white board easel, my enthusiastic students will be able to participate in interactive learning. They will have a central place for instruction. A location to come and share their answers. This easel will be used in daily instruction across all subject areas!
