This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love reading and I want my students to love reading. I believe if given the right book they can fall in love with books just like me. When I was their age there weren’t any books that mirrored my life. The books I have chosen mirror my students experiences in life. Each of my students is unique in their own special way. They are smart, funny, and deserve the very BEST! If my project is funded my students will experience the true pleasure of reading! Please help them explore reading!
