My Students
My students are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom. Yet, despite these obstacles, I genuinely believe they love to come to school. For some students, this is a chance to socialize, while for others, it's the only structured, safe place in their lives. Every student is different and has different needs, and I'm looking forward to addressing all the challenges that come with a new class. I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with a creative and meaningful learning experience. Help me build a solid classroom environment that our students will remember forever. We need an environment where they can learn and thrive! Together, we can achieve this!
My Project
I am asking for a class set of the book Matilda by Roald Dahl. He is considered on the the best children book writers of our time! In the spring we will be starting our independent book study unit, and we have chose Matilda as our novel.
Matilda is a children's book classic that every child deserves to read.
As we study sequence, cause and effect and various other ELA skills, the students need a text that is engaging. Matilda is without a doubt a book that all students must read!
