My Project

Halfway through the year in the kindergarten classroom, is a very exciting time! Children are reading and really enjoying books. I would like to get these special books in the hands of my students and their parents so that they can enjoy the reading experience together! What is special about these books, you might ask. Well, the page on the left is made for the parent to read and the page on the right is written for the child to read. I find these books encouraging to the young reader! I have a wonderful lending library in my classroom that I have built over the years. The only issue is that most children's literature is written at a very high level. Parents must read these books to their children. These are books that they can share, and the more children can read, the more they want to read!
