Growing up, I always kept certain books in the back of my mind that I absolutely loved to read. These books were read over and over again, as they broadened my imagination and brought new interests into my life. I want my second grade students to have the opportunity to read some of my favorite childhood books that will hopefully inspire them to read more from these amazing authors. These books will be read in a whole group setting, as well as independent reading for pleasure. My goal is to inspire, motivate, and encourage students to develop a love for reading new books!
