Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There is nothing like teaching first graders. My students are so inquisitive and excited to learn every day when they come to school. I want my classroom to be a happy place that fosters creativity and challenges my students to think outside the box.
By providing diverse learning modes across my daily curriculum and enhancing their hands-on learning experiences I will be able to engage my highest and most struggling learners.
When students enjoy learning, they have better attendance, better grades, and are more responsible and higher earning adults.
My Project
If my project was funded, it would be so wonderful for my students. The new chair bands would help them to fidgit in a healthy way, keeping them learning. Building sets woiuld increase their creative mindset and let them build upon basic math and engineering ideas. Puzzles will help to challenge all levels of students. STEM sets would be great in stations to help with problem solving.
Increasing the amount of hands on learning I have availible in the classroom would make a huge impact on student achievement.
My students would be so excited to recieve new materials for their classroom stations.
