Chemistry is the hardest subject in high school! That's what students so often hear from older siblings, parents, and friends. I want to impress upon them that it can be FUN! I teach high school juniors who are planning to attend college in the next year or two. The school is a relatively small school in a rapidly-growing coastal community.

I have the opportunity to encourage students to further their education in science if I can make chemistry interesting and captivating. I want to motivate them to develop and continue an interest in science as they prepare to enter college.

The chemistry kits give visible demonstrations of several chemistry concepts in vivid chemical reactions. This catches the students' attention and helps keep them interested in chemistry. This will help them stay motivated to do well in my class.

Your donation to help purchase these kits will provide stimulation of interest in the field of chemistry. Interest and motivation will help my students stay focused in the classroom as they prepare for a college career.
