I have a class of 33 5th graders in a large urban area.
5th grade is a huge growing experience for students, and I do my best to ensure that they are prepared for middle school, high school, and beyond.
21st Century Skills play a huge role in our every day lives, and our students should start preparing for that as soon as possible.
My goal is to integrate technology for a blended learning classroom. To do this properly, we will need Chromebooks to help us achieve our goal of being a 1:1 classroom in terms of technology. Each student having their own Chromebook would allow us to complete many more online and collaborative activities. It would also give them more opportunities to work with adaptive curriculum that is specifically tailored to help meet their educational needs.
