My Students

I love my students because of their individual personalities, there is no blanket statement that I could possibly come up with that would cover every student's personal quirks.

My students deal with a lot of life issues outside of the classroom, a lot of those experiences are not good experiences and they continue to come to school and work hard every day, my students are survivors.

My students are in need of a fun, after-school activity that will support the whole child, build relationships with fellow students and teachers and give students a safe reliable place to be after the bell rings.

Many of the students within my classroom and school come from homes that are sometimes unable to supply even the most basic needs.

My Project

These materials will address student learning by improving peer to peer relationships, decreasing negative behaviors within the classroom and halls.

These two TV's are the last pieces of equipment we need in order to complete our gaming club.

Currently, we do not have access to TV's to connect to our consoles.

We have already received funds for the purchase of consoles and games, with your generous funding we will be able to start our after school Gaming Club.

Our school needs a fun after-school activity that will support the whole child, build relationships with fellow students and teachers, and give students a safe reliable place to be after the bell rings.

These materials will help align with our school's implementation of trauma-informed, students will have a safe place to be after school where they can interact with positive mentors and build positive relationships. We know this type of club would be popular with our at-risk and poverty students.
