My Students

My students are a very diverse group. They come from different backgrounds and beliefs. Some kids have access to technology and some don't have it at home. With the rise in technology knowledge for current jobs, all students need to know how to be tech-savvy. Our school has a diverse population, with ninety-five percent of students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. Many face challenges in and out of school and in their homes. A school is a place of refuge for some, and I want to provide ample opportunities to shine where they are in their development. As their teacher, I see a group of wonderful children full of energy and a willingness to jump in and try new things.

With Arizona being forty-ninth in state funding, it isn't easy to give all students what they need.

For our students to compete in the job market, they must be exposed to and solve problems.

My Project

My students are always creating projects and they want to share them with others. It would be very nice to be able to have the space to display their great writing and work. These outdoor bulletin boards would be used to display the amazing work that is being done in the classroom for others to see. Our classroom is close to the office and we get a lot of foot traffic. It would be great to see the kids take pride in their work and be able to show it off to the school.
