My Project

We are so very grateful and thankful to have received a new set of MacBook Air laptops to update many of the computers in the school! These are state-of-the-art computers that will allow my students to learn and work for many years to come. There is a tiny problem, though.

The cart we have to store and charge them is old, and the plug jacks are very close together.

So close, in fact, that the USB-C adapters that came with the MacBooks are too big to plug all of them in at the same time. To solve this, I am requesting smaller USB-C adapters, so that all can fit, therefore simultaneously charging all the laptops. I also included additional charging cables, so that I can repurpose the large adapters and also have the devices portable with a cord, so students can use them in multiple locations. This way, nobody has to wait for a powered-up laptop. They will all charge in the cart overnight, and every student can get hands-on as soon as they need to start.
