My students need rechargeable batteries in order to use technology that is already in place in the classroom. The batteries are needed for Activotes.

My Students

Do you remember knowing the answer to a question the teacher asked, but being too afraid to raise your hand? By supporting my classroom and donating money to purchase rechargeable batteries, every student will be able to use an Activote and have a voice in my room!

I serve approximately 115 sixth grade students.

We live in a rural community in south Mississippi. My students have limited use of technology in the classroom. We have limited resources. My students are wanting to use technology to learn and demonstrate their math skills.

My Project

With the rechargeable batteries, I will be able to provide each child with an Activote for classroom use. I will be able to instantly see a child's progress or where remediation is needed. No longer will a student be worried about being called on with the wrong answer. And I will know what they are thinking!!

I already have the technology in the classroom, but Activotes uses batteries rather quickly!

By having rechargeable batteries, I will be able to provide that technology use on a regular basis!! We are POWERING UP WITH TECHNOLOGY!!
