My amazing group of 13 students with intellectual disabilities come into school every morning with a bright smile and a positive attitude to tackle the day, no matter their circumstances. They love unconditionally and cheer for everyone. Many of my students come from low income homes and deal with struggles that would cause any student difficulty, but they have what it takes to overcome anything. Their pure joy and happiness is contagious as we transition throughout the school day as we see our peers in the hallways and cafeteria.
My students need a place to store and charge our Kindle Fire tablets. We are very lucky to have a classroom set of Kindle Fires on the way thanks to generous donors on Donors Choose, but we have no where to store and charge them. This charging station would be perfect! This would keep our tablets charged, so that they can be used each and every day.
Once our tablets arrive, we plan to use them every day.
We can't do that unless they're charged! We are so excited to be able to have this great resource for our room, and we be very thankful to have a place to store and charge our tablets.
