Our classroom is a safe place for students to come and know that no matter what is going on in their life, we will make them feel welcomed and accepted by everyone. The class is a mix of general education students, special education students, and students in need of Academic Intervention Services (AIS). These students come from a variety of economic backgrounds which means that the students come to us at many different levels.
Our classroom design and learning experiences help students develop tolerance for people from all walks of life.
Creating a comfortable learning environment and providing many different types of learning experiences contribute to the success of our students.
My Project
Our classroom currently has two iPads and four iPods. Right now they are plugged in to power strips throughout the room when they need to be charged. Having all of the tablets in one place will help me to keep track of them and make sure they are charged for the next day.
The charging stations will allow us to charge the devices and keep the iPads and iPods organized.
Using technology in my lessons is very important as I am focused on building future ready students. Knowing that there is a place where the iPads and iPods will be charging when not in use will help the classroom run even more smoothly.
