My students need an charging station in our classroom for the classroom iPads. This will insure the iPads are charged and available for usage whenever the students need them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the privilege of working with an incredible bunch of kindergarten students. They live in a community with varying socioeconomic backgrounds, but predominantly low income. The school is Title I and all students receive free lunch and free breakfast. Their families work long hours and two-thirds of my class stay in the after school program, or extended care with babysitters.
A couple of my students are identified with special need eligibility, but they are ALL pretty SPECIAL in their own right.
Their high energy and active spirit requires a whole lot of juggling and differentiation in my instructional delivery. I am looking to provide tools that can support my students in developing and/or stimulating their curiosity and interest in.
My Project
My students are being asked to be competent in using technology and are encouraged iPad usage to build technology, math, literacy and science skills. When they are not able to use the iPads because the iPads are charging, time and opportunities are lost. I'd like to eliminate denying the children access to technology by having a charging station in the classroom.
Charged iPads means continuous learning opportunities at my students' disposal.
This could significantly increase children's usage and increase learning offered in the apps and programs children are invited and encouraged to use. The supplemental chords requested are for more iPad usb chords that so that all iPads can be charging simultaneously when not in use.
