Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Three-quarters of the students at my school receive free or reduced lunch. My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge even with the obstacles they face daily.
They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world.
Financial Literacy recently became part of the 2nd-grade curriculum and my students need hands-on activities to help them make the connection to the real world. Having the Osmo financial games will help students with the concept.
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My Project
I need a charging station for my student's tablets. My students are in need of a way to charge their devices without having to wait on other teachers. I also think we need the buzzers to help us allow each and every person to share their ideas. They will allow all students to be able to share and work on moving toward the 21 century. We also need to practice our vowel teams and having one more device to help students when they need to research and not have to borrow from other will be so helpful. Students are hard works and like to learn.
