This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is committed to providing a technology-driven learning environment, where Chromebooks are a critical tool for accessing educational content, completing assignments, and engaging in collaborative projects.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, many students occasionally arrive without their chargers—whether due to forgetfulness, loss, or damage.

This can create significant disruptions to their learning, as they are unable to use their Chromebooks effectively without a charged battery. With your help, we aim to provide a set of spare chargers that students can borrow when needed, ensuring they can continue their studies without delay.

A student without a charger is cut off from digital resources and learning opportunities. Having spare chargers will allow students to stay on task and engaged throughout the school day. Not all students have the financial means to replace lost or damaged chargers, and some may simply forget theirs. This resource would ensure that all students, regardless of their circumstances, can participate fully in their education. A fully charged Chromebook means a fully productive student. With uninterrupted access to their devices, students can complete assignments, collaborate on projects, and interact with digital learning platforms without concern about battery life.
