My 2nd grade students are from a rural area. Our class has recently become a 1:1 classroom, with Apple iPads as our devices.
My students are eager to use their iPads in every aspect of their learning.
This opportunity is a great way for my students to learn from multiple avenues and be constantly challenged. They are curious and full of great ideas. They are excited and ready to learn and love using technology to show what they have learned.
My Project
My class has recently been assigned iPads as a part of our 1:1 Blended Learning program. Charging the iPads has proved to be problematic and leave some iPads not ready for lessons each day.
The charging station will ensure that every iPad is ready for engaging blended learning lesson on a daily basis.
Also, the structure of the station will promote students to become independent easy enough for 2nd graders to take charge of charging up!
Students will be using their iPads daily in most subjects. They use them to scan QR codes, read digital books, a digital whiteboard, and uploading assignments onto their students digital portfolio.
